For most of my career my main role has been as a therapist.  While my training is in a number of modalities, I see myself as primarily an ACT therapist (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) therapist.  As I hope is apparent form the rest of this website you may already realise, I have a strong interest in the mindfulness-based therapies.  I also have a strong commitment to the scientist-practitioner approach.  That is, the use of evidence-based practices in therapy.

I regularly see treat people for a wide range of issues, some of which include:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Pain
  • Stress
  • Work related issues
  • Relationships
  • Grief
  • Recovery from illness
  • Life changes
  • Personal Development
